After struggling with acne my whole life (and making the genius decision to go off birth control three years ago 🥲), the breakouts are back .. not as bad, but enough to make me want to cry in front of my magnifying mirror at the ripe age of 24 like i’m 14 again. I’m restarting the @Face Reality journey, the same products that saved my skin once before. This is my AM routine for week one: gentle cleanse, zap, tone, serum, moisturizer cocktail, SPF, the works. I’ll be posting weekly check-ins every Thursday to track the progress in real time .. because if I’m going through it, I know there’s atleast one other in their mid 20’s going through it as well🫶 Let’s see where this goes. @zoyoucomehereoften Skincare Diaries: Part 2 🧴☀️ I regret to inform you that I got cocky with my SPF on the Fourth and am now paying the price… red, crispy, and peeling like a croissant. 😵💫 BUT even with the sunburn setback, I’m already seeing progress in my acne and I’m not giving up now. 🫡 No zapper today because my skin said absolutely not, but the rest of my routine is going strong: cleanse ➡️ tone ➡️ mandelic (aka the villain this week) ➡️ hydrate ➡️ SPF for the gods 🙏 Here’s to less sun damage and more glow by next Thursday!
